One Day Trip
Departure from your hotel in Marrakech: Travel through the old Medina and enjoy the beautiful scenery as you head towards the Ourika Valley, a Berber area with many villages.
Continue to the Ourika Valley: Make a stop at a high point in the mountains to take photos of the Berber villages. Visit a Berber house to experience the daily life of a Berber family and see the traditional Berber mill powered by river water. Family members will show you around the different parts of the house.
Next, visit a women’s cooperative: Discover how cosmetic products and Argan oil are made. Don’t miss the aromatic garden and medicinal plants, which are worth seeing.
Arrive at Setti Fatma village, the main village of the Ourika Valley, where you’ll meet your local mountain guide.
After a restroom break, start a 35-minute hike up the mountain through walnut trees to see the waterfalls. Enjoy taking beautiful pictures amidst the mountains.
